Love The Earth

Love The Earth is our range of food service disposables made from paper, bagasse (sugarcane fibre), wood and other plant-based materials rather than conventional plastic.

We describe each product by what it is made from and how it should be disposed of, rather than using general environmental terms. Where a product is certified compostable, the product page states the standard it was certified to and whether that certification covers industrial composting, home composting, or both. Where we hold no certification, we make no composting claim.

Disposal routes vary between local authorities. Please check with your waste collection provider before placing any packaging into food waste or garden waste collections.

Love The Earth Eco-Friendly Packaging – FAQs

Love The Earth is our range of food service disposables made from paper, bagasse, wood and other plant-based materials instead of conventional plastic. Materials and disposal routes differ between products — check the individual product page for the material and disposal information for that item.

Only where the product page says so, and only to the standard stated there. Compostable is a certified claim, not a general description. Industrial composting is normally certified to EN 13432; home composting requires a separate certification. Products in this range that carry no composting claim should not be placed in food waste or garden waste collections.
